the "talking dog"

there is a cell phone commercial where a woman is shipping her little boy in a pet carrier to save money on airline tickets. she asks him if he's o.k. and he resignedly replies, "I have a coloring book." then she asks the guys at the place where you check in your live cargo if they think this is a bad idea. she claims she needs the money she'll save on the plane ticket to pay her cell phone bill. they tell her about a cheaper type of cell phone. then, as he's being place on the conveyor belt, the little boy says, "i'm itchy." and the guys are all, "is that the talking dog?"

i don't know... this commercial is just a little too strange to me. i mean, stay home! go without a cell phone! maybe shampoo's ill mood is showing again... what do you think (about the commercial)?

okay weird commercials:
those loreal commercials with the lady whose face seems paralyzed. i mean, she's pretty, but her immobile face is creepy.

the commercial with birds flapping out from under guys' armpits... um... i'm at a loss.

the burger king commercial with the little hands guy getting fed his burger by his buddy while a tender ballad plays. get a room, guys.

gay men like hamburgers, too? (burger king hopes)

the pit-stain shirt makes sense to me. but, then again, i grew up when women in detergent couples had the words "ring around the collar" tauntingly sung to them by inanimate objects if they did get that laundry done right. my sister used to yell back at the tv, "have your husband wash his neck!" haha

i can't think which loreal commercial you mean...

"detergent couples" wtf am i talking about i meant: detergent COMMERCIALS.

wtf??? this guy on tv just said to this girl, "I want to jerk it." she replies, "jerk it indeed." i am not watching porn. it's some goofy show on mtv. (yes everyone is wearing clothing and they're walking around... at the prom.) i can only imagine this is some form of dancing. my second guess is snacking.

for the love of god, i hope that's what jerking means...

another scary one is the 'reverse mortgage' one. this is a creepy idea. consider- it is targeting folks whose 401K retirement plans went up in smoke (so it says in the commercial). it is offering to buy people's property on behalf of the federal government (also stated in the commercial).
but, wait, wasn't it the federal government (under the Cheney/Bush administration) that allowed the financial institutions of wall street destroy folks' retirement funds?
so, the government turns a blind eye to the unethical activities of the banks as they play russian roulette with the investments of their customers, bails out the fucking banks after that gun goes off, and now is offering to buy land from the people the banks fucked over (who should've been the ones to get the bailout funds)?
Welcome to feudalism, America. The government owns the land and you lease it from them.
Now THAT is a scary commercial.
