celebrity fit club, maybe eventually i'll see it all...

i still haven't seen all of the last episode of celebrity fit club. i did, however, see the last weigh ins...

jay mccarroll lost 40 pounds! dr. ian encouraged him to stick with the program (jay has said he wants some muscles now, haha) which will be a lot easier with all the prizes he won! jay beat his nearest competition, kfed, to win the individual weight loss challenge. he got a gym membership, some nice exercise equipment, a nice watch, some guitars, and $20,000. so, i am really happy for him.

but, kfed did not go unrewarded! his team (the blue team) were the team winners and the prizes they got included most of the things jay got as well as a few more items including a nice trip. they got $70,000... i don't know if that was apiece or if it was to be split four ways. the members of the blue team are caycee, sebastian, tanisha, and kfed. (red team members: shar, nicole, bobby, and jay). there was some confetti dropped so sebastian and tanisha held hands and danced around under it. haha well, tanisha kind of hopped. she hurt her leg the previous episode.

i am a little irritated at bobby... he is making me side with whitney huston and i don't appreciate that. bobby was a huge, huge baby the whole time except for a few shining instances where he was pretty nice. i don't know if it's the fact that bobby's definition of "sobrity" is a little different than most people's (he regularly drinks, often to excess) or what, but he pouts up in a hurry.

he made a bet with dr. ian that he'd donate $1,000 to charity for every pound under his goal that he was. his goal was 20 pounds for the season. bobby lost 11 pounds. in fact, this week he actually gained a pound. so, he had to write a check for $9,000. he did sign a check and leave it, then stomped out muttering "kiss my ass." so everyone had to go out and convince him to come back inside. after he did, dr. ian said bobby can have 60 more days to lose the nine pounds and dr. ian will just hold the check (which wasn't made out in any case) to see what happens.

so, i guess bobby doesn't have $9,000? um... i find that a little improbable. for one thing, they are paid to be on this show. for another thing, if bobby had been so concerned about the money, he could've worked a lot harder to lose weight or just not made the bet in the first place. sure, it was dr. ian's idea, but bobby could have just said he didn't want to bet on that or offered an alternative of some sort. also, dr. ian only came up with that idea to motivate bobby because bobby was not following the diet at all. i think bobby just wanted to be on a television show and was all pouty and so on that the show expected him to actually DO something.

for one solid week harvey tried to call bobby because bobby had asked him to help him workout. harvey said he called "all three numbers" and the only person he talked to was bobby's daughter. bobby tried to blame the fact he hadn't talked to harvey on his DAUGHTER saying "she didn't tell me", but harvey said he heard bobby in the background. so, bobby had to admit that he had been there. he didn't really have any particular reason for not getting on the phone, but it's pretty obvious he didn't really want to work out or do anything else. i don't know why he specifically asked harvey to call him to arrange these workouts, but i guess that's the sort of thing he does.

other people who have been on the show that have taken harvey up on his offer have found it is very helpful and it really helped them with their workouts and success on the show. the season ross was on there, he worked with harvey and i am pretty sure he won the individual competition (unless that was the year maureen was on there). he lost a lot of weight in any case.

shar did really well on the show. the therapist lady on the show talked to shar and kevin a lot (separately) and kevin decided to apologize on the show to shar. i haven't seen his apology, but shar said it was the best moment for her. surprisingly, kevin said it was the best moment for him, too. he said it was really helpful and he thought "it helped shar, too." so, that says a lot about how difficult things must have been ... it's kind of surprising they have worked things out as well as they have. i guess that goes to show people can work things out (with custody and visitation) if they put their children first.

the thing about this show is dr. ian, robin, and harvey are so much more fair when it comes to the competitors. they seem much more able to put aside their personal feelings, especially harvey. (note, i haven't seen every season or every episode of cfc) then i look at celebrity rehab and sober house where supposedly it's (dramatic pause) life or death. yet, OBVIOUS favoritism is shown. some staff members are moody and/or passive aggressive. some people are continually treated as more important than other people. i don't know... the difference in the two shows are pretty shocking, but it shows a much better way of treating people. i'm sure having been in the marines harvey has seen it all by now, but he still views the celebrities as individuals. he scolds them when they need it and compliments them when they deserve it. it seems to work much better than what craziness i see on celebrity rehab where they will let one or two nutcases piss them off at everyone constantly. i'm sure everyone can think of a million ridiculous things from the dr. drew show. i have stopped watching it... i wonder how many people that show has turned off of rehab. to me, it's just proven that sort of rehab doesn't halfway work.

tanisha's first "pop off"

the fit club celebrities (yeah... just go with it) all had to bring something to "leave behind." several people bring their fat clothes.

bobby brown bought some pants he got while high. boy, he's going to be kicking himself. pants like those bobby burned are very in this spring. who would've thought?

tanisha, from the bad girl's club, had a chain. a broken chain that she was wearing when she got arrested.

the REASON she got arrested is really sad... she let some friend stay with her. this friend took up with tanisha's fiance and got pregnant by him.

neither of them thought about telling tanisha... she caught them together. her reaction led to the the police being called.
later, when she realized she was wearing the chain, she tore it off her neck. this is what got her on tbgc! damn.
she told her story and ran off screaming "I didn't know!" it was so sad.

nicole, caycee, sebastian, and the therapist chased her down. sebastian says, "it's not your fault, dude, you didn't know!" well, it made her feel better.

kfed opined that you just never knew what kind of story people had... he wasn't just talking about tanisha. so, I guess that's something to learn.

everyone lost weight this week. bobby only lost one pound, but everyone else lost at least three.
bobby seems to be having trouble with the idea that drinkie-poos have calories (and he's not going to alone in that).

they also got to play with "swords" and pretend to be samurai. yay!

oh snapple!

dr. dre is suing suge knight! omg! well, hopefully dr. dre is at an undisclosed location and letting his lawyers do the dirty work. I don't know or care why. rich people moving money around is all's I know.

but remember when vanilla ica shrilled that suge knight have dangled him off a balcony? later he retracted that. probably because dangling people off balconies was a direct violation of suge's probation. hehe, but still... funny story.

which brings me to my most favorite funny story ever which is tommy hilfigger beating down that bitch axl rose. in public, so there were no takebacksees. ah yes, fashion designers are FIERCE!

further proving this was jay mccarroll beating all the boys which includes sebastian bach, kfed, and bobby brown(*) at the tower on harvey's obstacle course. (*) bobby is afraid of heights. he tried, the other two didn't really. o.k. s.b. is the main one I don't like because hair metal sucks. always and forever, it must be beaten back. remember the darkness scare of a few years ago?

speaking of things that suck, rpattz has opined to details magazine. first, he has to pose with ICKY GIRLS (not really, just naked). he said he was "allergic to vagina" several times.
then he talked a lot about his (unnatural) love of animals. he told a very long story about a lovely elephant lady who loved him once. she was a single mother.

finally, by the writer's description, dude is on drugs. or he needs to see a doctor, stat.

on the brightside, i'm sure he had NO PROBLEM with the glittery scenes. haha (still haven't see either twilight movie).

jay mccarroll is on celebrity fit club!

yay! jay is back on tv! I love him. he is doing pretty good, too. so, that's great. he's (starting off) around the size he always was. he has the lowest initial body fat of any of the guys at 25 percent.

people who watched "project runway" s1 know jay's dad was in a whelchair due to having amputations related to his diabetes. jay's dad has passed away since that time. jay says he knows this runs in his family and he doesn't want to go through the same thing.

he did really well during fit camp (or so far), so harvey made him captain of the red team.

other red team members are shar jackson and nicole eggert. neither of these ladies are hugely fat, but they need to lose some. bobby brown is back on vh1 again and he's the red team's final member.

the blue team is the fatter team. it has kaycee from high school musical. she seems really sweet. tanisha, the "pop off" girl from bad girls club (she has the highest body starting fat there at 47 percent). the blue team also has sebastian bach as their skinniest member... not that he's skinny. finally, they have shar's ex. mr. britney spears, kevin federline.

kfed says he looks "like a pregnant man" and was named the "dead weight of the blue team by harvey.

the blue team (even tanisha) all voted for themselves on the obstacle course as the worst person. although, tanisha did try much harder than some others. especially since she was put opposite nicole who had the best time of anyone.

sweet little kaycee (kayshi?) was named captain of the blue team. she has her work cut out for her although, kfed showed up with a lot more commitment the next day.

so, it looks interesting. I hope this helps shar put the kfed-related drama behind her (to the public and for herself). she seems like a sweet person.

misery for shock value

hln's "showbiz tonight" (the self-proclaimed "most provocative" show) decided to use some celebrity confessions as a basis for a "shocking" show.

now, some of the celebs truly suffered something terrible. whether it happened 100 percent as they now remember (i am not saying they are lying, but this was sustained and extreme abuse so some details may be mixed up with other abuse they endured) whatever the actual details, many of these things are things NO ONE DESERVES EVER.

however, the lifelong behavior of some of these people (all have been famous for decades) show that somewhere along the line something bad happened. in some cases, we even have indications what happened and who did it.

they led off with tapes of michael jackson talking about the abuuse by his asshole father joe jackson. joe jackson is scum and ought to be in jail. period. I don't know if michael would have ever hurt anyone ever if not for joe. because compared to joe, michael was rather gentle. that's not a defense of michael. it is a condemnation of joe.

but, anyone who doesn't believe that joe jackson abuse all (or at least most of his children, i've heard janet was spared... I doubt it, but her abuse may have been less severe because she had several protectors) has not been paying attention.

there is nothing michael could say on those tapes about joe that would surprise me that joe went there. it makes me sick that michael's children have been given to his mother because she didn't protect her own children from joe... why would she protect michael's?

I am not going to repeat exactly what michael said. i'll just point a few words he said. joe had a particular abusive act that he did to michael. michael said "he made it a ritual." now, this is michael jackson only a few years before he died. so he has been mulling this fucked up stuff over for decades.

anyway joe's sick, cruel, pervert self would start beating michael after preparing him in a certain way. as things became more frenzied, katherine would start screaming, "stop it joe! you're going to kill him!" it sounds like before she started screaming, michael had already started to think this may kill him. katharine's screams did not stop joe. they only frightened michael even more. obviously, joe always eventually stopped because michael lived for 50 years. he didn't say how many times he underwent this particular "ritual" and he certainly didn't say that was the only abuse he suffered at the hands of joe. because, of course, it was not.

michael concludes this particular story saying "I hate him." but, I don't think he always felt that way. it would have been easier for him if he had. in fact, michael tells another story where joe regularly lets him know that joe is done with him if he ever stops making money. now, he was a little boy who certainly should not have been responsible for keeping his worthless parents in money.

so, I keep thinking about the christmas tape michael made with his kids (that joe or whoever whored out to the tv shows) where they sing. the kids sing well. I am sure joe is already plotting their music careers.

next shocker, mackenzie phillips, daughter of "papa" john phillips was in an insectuous relationship with her father. people, this chick has been a heroin addict from an extremely young age. she's got clean and gone back many times.

for people who may not know... john phillips is dead. since I said joe jackson belongs in jail, I wanted to clarify why I didn't say the same about j.p.

mackenzie already told us that she started using drugs with her father from a very young age and no one said anything because, hey, it's just "papa john" giving his little girl some smack (or whatever else). she's already said that she, her dad, and mick jagger were doing drugs. her dad left the room and when he came back, the door was closed and she and mick were having sex. so, her dad starts knocking on the door. but, she told the story in a very weird way that made me think she was saying he wanted back into the room, not that he wanted mick to stop fucking his underage daughter. in any case, he knew what happened at some point close in time to the event and mick jagger is still alive so... I never got the idea jp had a problem with him over it.

mackenzie told this story as though that's when she lost her virginity. but, it didn't exactly ring true. I couldn't figure out exactly why because I don't naturally think about insect... so, I am thinking mp was just talking about the first time that wasn't a dark family secret.

from what she says, she came to (she had been using a lot of drugs) having sex with her father. needless to say, this freaked her the fuck out. afterwards, she said something to him about him raping her. he says "we made love." she was a teenager at the time. this is the first time she REMEMBERS. her father may have told her how many times they'd done this before, but he probably started on her much earlier than he said. at any rate, mp very confused then kind of gets into some sort of "consensual" relationship with her and it's all just a really sad mess.

bijou says mackenzie told her about this once. then said it was not true (i don't know how much later) and so when mp said it this time bijou didn't believe her. well, I can certainly understand why bijou wouldn't WANT to believe her. but, I have a feeling, it's not so much she doesn't believe her sister... maybe she just REALLY wanted to believe the lie.

chynna believes mackenzie or, at least, she sticking by her. I get the impression this has something to do with mackenzie that she didn't want to talk about. she says it's really sad. she tried to be as positive as one could possibly be and didn't say anything negative about anyone.

mackenzie's story was surprising because it has some unusual elements to it. but, it's been clear for a long time something is seriously wrong with her. so, it's not surprising that she eventually came out with a horrible story.

ditto with rosie o'donnell. she's just done some weird things here and there that show she's had something bad happen to her early on (shown mostly by very inconsistent behavior). well, she says that she was consistently molested when she was young. her doctor even asked her when she was six if she was "touching" herself. I don't know what she told the doctor, but now she says "it wasn't me." she was pretty vague about the details (which is fine by me). so she may or may not have more to say later.

another thing she said (that they tried to make a huge deal out of) was she called oprah after the columbine shooting. she didn't really know oprah too well, but called her since they both had talk shows. so, she's sobbing to oprah about the need to "do something". she says oprah was nice about it. not really too shocking. they tried to make it sounded as if rosie told some awful secret on oprah. um, this doesn't sound bad?

kathy griffith says her brother was (is?) a pedophile. well, I guess this is shocking as I didn't know she even HAD a brother. I don't recall if this guy is living or dead. they didn't give too much time to this. they were too busy hyping the non-issue with rosie and oprah.

finally, whitney huston tells us SHE AND BOBBY BROWN DID DRUGS TOGETHER!!! OMG!!! hasn't everyone know that for 20 years? I didn't even watch her section. she also claims bobby spit on (or near) her once. this was apparently going to be part of an "abuse" story. I didn't watch it, so who knows.

in what I did see, whitney confessed to using pot and "rock cocaine." er... i'm not exactly a dea agent over here, but isn't "rock cocaine" what some folks call "crack"? didn't whitney herself say she only used expensive drugs as "crack is whack"?

I don't know why I watched any of this. oh yeah, I only have like 10 channels. but, it was a really sad and insensitive show.
